Star Wars fans celebrate with Lucas, Last Tour to Endor events
Sun, 15 Aug 2010 (Roger Moore/Orlando Sentinel) Jon Stewart of The Daily Show cracked jokes and interviewed George Lucas on Saturday in front of thousands of fans at Star Wars: Celebration V at the Orange County Convention Center. Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill joined the pair on stage at the end of “Main Event.” Read what they revealed in Movie Critic Roger Moore’s coverage here.

Later Saturday night, fans took to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the Last Tour to Endor event, which centered on the Star Tours ride scheduled to close for a months-long refurbishment on Sept. 8. The separate, hard-ticket event included Star Wars shows, a Death Star Disco, themed party zones and specially created fireworks.
