Epcot: A look at the grand opening of Via Napoli Thu, 05 Aug 2010
The grand opening of Via Napoli, a restaurant at the Italy pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. There’s an emphasis on pizza, but there’s other fare as well.

The new eatery is along the backside of the Italy pavilion. There was basically nothing there before, and the previous Italian restaurant, Tutto Italia, remains open for business.

Earlier in the day, there was a ribbon/vine cutting ceremony with Epcot vice president Dan Cockerell, Patina Restaurant Group executives and Mickey and Minnie in Italian garb. (In the background is the outdoor eating area, which I’m told will eventually be enclosed.)

Server costumes are new and unique to Via Napoli.
More interior shots, I’m going to bow to photographer Joe Burbank. His gallery is here.

Meanwhile, there’s visible progress on the next Epcot restaurant. Look for Cantina de San Angel to reopen in Mexico this fall.
Walt Disney World Discount Tickets - Planning ahead to get a deal at Disney is a good idea. It is a well-known fact that The Walt Disney Company does things right. And that often means high costs. A vacation to Walt Disney World much more like a week on a cruise ship than it is a night out at the movies. The cost is high, but you do get a quality experience.
